Chesapeake Bay Retriever Behaviour Traits
The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is a Large Purebred canine that originates from the Sporting group. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are characterised by the following behavioural traits: Happy, Affectionate, Dominant, Intelligent, Protective. This canine full of energy and requires daily exercise and play. Typically speaking, their behaviour is good with children and they are not good at adapting to brand-new environments and areas. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers generally don't interact well with other dogs, however this can be worked with adequate training and socialisation from puppyhood. They are not the easiest dogs to train, and may be difficult for first time dog owners.
