Dachshund Behaviour Traits
The Dachshund is a Medium Purebred pet that originates from the Herding group. Dachshunds are characterised by the following behavioural qualities: Courageous, Fearless, Lively, Quick, Sociable. This dog has lots of energy and requires daily exercise and play. Normally speaking, their behaviour is good with kids and they are not good at adjusting to new environments and areas. Dachshunds generally don't interact well with other dogs, however this can be worked with adequate training and socialisation from puppyhood. They are not the easiest dogs to train, and may be difficult for first time dog owners.
