Afghan Hound Behaviour Traits
The Afghan Hound is a Large Purebred canine that originates from the Sporting group. Afghan Hounds are characterised by the following behavioural traits: Aloof, Clownish, Dignified, Happy, Independent. This pet has lots of energy and requires daily exercise and play. Generally speaking, their behaviour is good with kids and they are good at adjusting to brand-new environments and surroundings. Afghan Hounds generally don't interact well with other dogs, however this can be worked with adequate training and socialisation from puppyhood. They are not the easiest dogs to train, and may be difficult for first time dog owners.
