How often should my dog be groomed?
Grooming needs for your dog will vary depending on the dog’s habbits, breed and hair. Normally, short haired dogs like Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming compared to long haired dogs such as Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet owners organise regular grooming about once a month. For young puppies and dogs who have not been groomed yet, more regular grooming at home should be done to get the pet used to being handled and to prevent grooming problems into adulthood. For more information about your dog’s grooming requirements, please ask an experienced pet groomer at your local dog grooming salon in Val-des-Monts Ontario.
