How often should your dog get groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will differ depending on the breed, fur and your pet’s habits. Normally, dogs with short coats such as Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors need less grooming than dogs with long coats including Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. Normally, most pet owners organise frequent grooming about once a month. For pups and dogs who have never been groomed before, more frequent burshing at home should be done to get the dog used to being handled and to prevent grooming problems as they grow up. For more information about your pet’s grooming requirements, please ask an experienced pet groomer at your local dog grooming salon in Tay Ontario.
