How often should your pet get groomed?
Grooming needs for your pet will vary depending on the breed, coat and your dog’s habits. Normally, dogs with short coats like Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors need less grooming compared to long haired dogs such as Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet owners schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For puppies and dogs who have never been groomed before, more frequent burshing at home should be performed to get the pet used to being handled and to avoid grooming problems as they grow up.
