How frequently should your dog be groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will differ depending on the breed, fur and your dog’s habits. Generally, dogs with short coats including Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming compared to dogs with long coats such as Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet parents schedule regular grooming every month. For puppies and dogs who have not been groomed yet, more frequent grooming at home should be done to get them used to being handled and to avoid grooming issues into adulthood. For more information about your dog’s grooming requirements, please ask a qualified pet groomer at your local dog grooming salon in North York City Centre Ontario.
