How frequently should your pet be groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will differ depending on the breed, hair and your dog’s habits. Generally, short haired dogs like Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming than dogs with long coats including Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet owners schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For young puppies and dogs who have not been groomed yet, more frequent grooming at home should be done to get the dog used to being handled and to avoid grooming problems as they grow up.
