How often should your dog get groomed?
Grooming needs for your pet will vary depending on the breed, coat and your dog’s habits. Usually, short haired dogs such as Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming than dogs with long coats such as Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet parents schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For young puppies and dogs who have never been groomed before, more frequent grooming at home should be done to get them used to being handled and to avoid grooming issues into adulthood.
