How often should your dog get groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will vary depending on the dog’s habbits, breed and fur. Generally, short haired dogs such as Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming than dogs with long coats including Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet owners organise frequent grooming about once a month. For young puppies and dogs who have not been groomed yet, more regular grooming at home should be done to get them used to being handled and to prevent grooming problems as they grow up.
