How frequently should my dog be groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will vary depending on the breed, fur and your pet’s habits. Generally, dogs with short coats like Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming than dogs with long coats including Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet parents schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For pups and dogs who have never been groomed before, more frequent grooming at home should be done to get them used to being handled and to avoid grooming issues into adulthood.
