How often should your dog get groomed?
Grooming requirements for your dog will differ depending on the dog’s habbits, breed and coat. Normally, short haired dogs such as Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors need less grooming than dogs with long coats including Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet owners schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For puppies and dogs who have not been groomed yet, more frequent burshing at home should be performed to get them used to being handled and to avoid grooming issues as they grow up.
