How frequently should your dog be groomed?
Grooming needs for your pet will differ depending on the breed, coat and your dog’s habits. Normally, dogs with short coats such as Beagles, Bulldogs and Labradors require less grooming compared to dogs with long coats such as Poodles, Border Collies and Pomeranians. As a general rule, most pet parents schedule frequent grooming about once a month. For puppies and dogs who have never been groomed before, more frequent burshing at home should be performed to get the pet used to being handled and to avoid grooming problems into adulthood.
